Oh there is so much to talk about... but first I would like to say that I am happy to report that the rest of the weeks mornings went so well that we even got to play a little monkey in the middle before we had to leave for school. Which might I tell you the kids love having me as the monkey "sigh" probably because I suck and can never get the ball away from them.
The boys had a baseball game last night which they lost unfortunately 18-10. It is never fun being on the losing end of a baseball game but I have a feeling that this team better get used to it! Poor Owen struck out every at bat. He kept jumping back every time Ryan would pitch to him... I think it has something to do with the fact that in practice last Sunday Ryan hit Owen with a pitch. Poor kid had a nice baseball shaped welt right on his rib cage. That's not half as bad as what he did to Tony though, bad pitch hit that kid in the face giving him a bloody nose. That was the end of baseball practice that day! On the bright side though Owen did make a very nice throw to first base. He is throwing real well right now. Being the youngest on the team he is holding his own so far. If there were MVP's of the game Cooper would have gotten it for sure. That kid hit a home run with two kids on base, caught a pop fly ball in the outfield, and made some stellar plays at third base. He is turning into quite the little ball player. They have a game tomorrow and Grandma and Grandpa are going to come. I hope the three boys can get a W for them :)
Today Owen had his little kindergarten concert at the school. Owen sang a little and even danced a little but he did not get into it like the other kids did. Although I can not complain because at least he participated unlike the time he was in the Little Angels Choir at church. For their big performance in front of the whole congregation that little stinker crossed his arms and gave the worst scowl ever, through the whole thing. I personally found it funny! There was one part of the concert where the students who wanted to could come down off the risers and say what they were going to do for mother on mothers day. Owen was one of about 5 kids total who chose not to say anything. You never know what your going to get with Owen, shy or just plain wild and goofy. Today he was shy and that's ok I loved the show anyways. I got the whole thing on video and can not wait to play it for him... as soon as we get a moment.
